More Wikipedia Information
In class today, there were a few questions about how accurate Wikipedia can be if it is created by amateurs and volunteers. This is a common question. This article, The Wiki Principle, from The Economist, discusses how many brains can be better than one.
The Wikipedia:Introduction page explains how this is possible. (Notice, too, that words within Wikipedia are linked to articles on that topic -- something never possible in traditional encyclopedias.)
Evaluation
If someone asks me, “Are you improving in your English?” my answer is “Yes.” Especially, my writing skills are much better than before. However, the trouble with me is that I’m a big frog in a small pond. As I read my classmates’ essay, I could realize that my expressions were simple. In addition, I was accustomed to use the expressions that I used to write frequently. I should try to write the new type of the sentence to which I have never tried. Obviously, I was motivated by the other’s essay. Thank you for my friends and the blogger.

Mass Media
Recently, I went to the store that sold many shoes and was managed by some black man. I don’t remember the name of the store. The atmosphere of the store was different compared to others. That was exactly what it was ‘hip-hop.’ When I saw the shoes, I could see the any music video through the T.V in the store. I liked the song but I didn’t know the title of the song. I could just remember the song’s melody and the musician’s face. As I came back my place, I could find the music vided easily, titled ‘Why you wanna, artist: T.I.’ by the Internet. That I knew was just his face and the melody of the song but with the clicking on the website, I could find it that I wanted. In fact, less than 20years ago, we weren’t able to listen any music on the website. We shouldn’t have bought the only one song that we wanted but the expensive CD that included many songs that we didn’t want. Today we can see many music videos and movies on the website. Many people prefer the Internet service because of convenience. The above experience of mine is an example that shows what many people prefer the mass media today.
